One Question

How is it I can give up beef, pork, chicken, fish, coffee and pop with no issues, but I can't give up freak'in french fries and ice cream???!!!!!!

WTF is that about?

okay...so perhaps that's two questions.....

Thursday I tell you. Thursday! WW here I come.


  1. Who says you have to give them up? You SHOULD keep some things you love. But you know as well as I do that you can only love them in moderation. Keep them for a weekend treat, but don't give them up. Otherwise, you will feel like you have given everything. It's not worth it, and you will more than likely disappoint yourself. So have your french fries and ice-cream, enjoy them, but don't go to town on them! :-)

  2. that's the hard part!!! I usually do go to town, but here's hoping I can change!

  3. For me its ice cream and pizza. Everything else (okay, besides coffee) I could not eat if need be.

    But those two things are also my trigger foods. Now we only order a medium pizza so that I can't over eat. I find it a lot better to go out and get a small ice cream cone. (Although its waaaay cheaper to buy your own and make at home.)

  4. Chess is dead on. My blog and motto is Eat Slow Walk Fast cause I found that if I eat slowwwwww, really, really, slowwwwwwwwwwww, painfully slow... I eat less! Thus, I still eat a lot of what I like, but MUCH LESS of it than ever before, and then I counter the calories with intensive walking every day. So I managed to lose a lot of weight without giving up what I like! And I love French Fries too!!!!!!!!!!!! (and still eat them) My other weakness is margaritas....
